LA's rich graffiti history celebrated

5 years of LA graffiti ('83-'88) has been documented in a massive hardback book which was launched at MoCA this month. Very few artists' names were familiar to me before I moved here. There's learning in them pages!

I went along to check out the discussion panels, but missed them all. Still I hung out and watched some of LA's 'most wanted' artists celebrate their notoriety and freedom.
