I'm British-born Chinese from Bristol, UK. I’m LA-based. I’m a hip hop aficionado. After 15 years in London I moved to LA to pursue a new career and outlook on life.

Back in the 80s I was a DJ. In the 90s I contributed to the world's first street style exhibition at London's Victoria & Albert Museum. In 2011, I had my first interviews published. Today, I’m keeping busy with music, art, photos and writing.

Long Beach, adicolor and fish & chips

I drove to Long Beach, near LAX airport, which is about 30 miles from home. Why? Because Proper is down there and they had my adicolor Keith Haring black range in size US 8. Word! Can't front on that. My Keith Haring shoes are 1/5000 and there is a tracksuit as part of the collaboration with Jeremy Scott.

Archie looked after me and was even chill about me taking photos in the store?! Soooo non-NYC! He told me about the patent leather Nike AF-1 which will come in soccer team colours to promote World Cup fever...like AF-1s are soccer shoes...doh!

Nice 'n' Spice
Opposite Proper is Uncle Al's Seafood, a cajun joint. Imagine this...red snapper, battered and sprinkled with cajun spices served with fries and green beans. Ummm ummm! Boy that place is so good I can't keep it to myself!
