Stevio...LA LA Lovin' It?

I'm British-born Chinese from Bristol, UK. I’m LA-based. I’m a hip hop aficionado. After 15 years in London I moved to LA to pursue a new career and outlook on life.

Back in the 80s I was a DJ. In the 90s I contributed to the world's first street style exhibition at London's Victoria & Albert Museum. In 2011, I had my first interviews published. Today, I’m keeping busy with music, art, photos and writing.

The last word for Bristol....

Don Cameron's Bristol International Balloon Fiesta happened the weekend I headed back to LA. It's world-class! I miss Bristol a bit folks...

I'm back in LA, but I have my blog to remind me of what I'm missing....

13 hours on a plane...
I watched these Bristol YouTubes in the comfort of my apartment in LA on a sunny (need I say it?) Sunday morning following a short nap to recover from my tedious journey back 'home'. The Korean kid who couldn't keep still decided to shift from his aisle seat to the middle-seat...next to me from Washington D.C. to LA.

Not quite what I expected when I signed up to a window-seat in United's Econcomy Plus, but I took 4-hour of crash which helped numb the pain. More good news: the plane landed 15-mins early, but that was all lost after the usual Homeland Security crap and another 1-hour+ wait for baggage. Still, my Lady Pink canvas arrived intact! (Thanks to Nosca for sorting that out...)

More waiting to come
By now it's 1.15am, but I still had another 45-min wait for Prime Time shuttle to f&*k up ('go get a Super Shuttle, sir...'). But, in all truth all these shuttle services are bollocks after midnight. It's like public transport, but without the timetable, rather than a door-to-door service. Let the buyer beware!
