I'm British-born Chinese from Bristol, UK. I’m LA-based. I’m a hip hop aficionado. After 15 years in London I moved to LA to pursue a new career and outlook on life.

Back in the 80s I was a DJ. In the 90s I contributed to the world's first street style exhibition at London's Victoria & Albert Museum. In 2011, I had my first interviews published. Today, I’m keeping busy with music, art, photos and writing.

Trafalgar Square fountains freeze over!!

I love this picture. The overcast skies, the grey stone and Brits dressed up in dark winter clothes. Makes me miss the UK a bit.

These past few weeks have brought historically cold weather to the UK and there was even several feet of snow fall which I haven't experienced for years...probably cause I've been in LA for nearly 5 years now! :)

The weather watchers say that Britain was gripped by conditions that put Iceland and Greenland to shame with temperatures close to -12C (10.4F). That's how cold it needs to get to freeze the fountains in Trafalgar Square, London! Wow! Pretty!

Just like England ;)

It never rains in southern California...

One inch an hour of rain fell over night. It was like nothing we see here during most of the year, but once or twice in 'winter' we get a torrential rainfall. It gets the blame for a spike in car accidents as the Cali motorists (who can't drive at the best of times) try to deal wet roads, aquaplaning and oil slicks. All hell breaks loose! Stay away from the I-110 to/from Pasadena! Treach! (Disclosure: this video was recorded in January, but trust me, last night was exactly the same...except I was snug at home!)
