I'm British-born Chinese from Bristol, UK. I’m LA-based. I’m a hip hop aficionado. After 15 years in London I moved to LA to pursue a new career and outlook on life.

Back in the 80s I was a DJ. In the 90s I contributed to the world's first street style exhibition at London's Victoria & Albert Museum. In 2011, I had my first interviews published. Today, I’m keeping busy with music, art, photos and writing.

How to lace your sneakers....

The sneaker train is running faster than ever...and I'm still on board, and not bored...yet. Nike Spiz'ikes anyone?

I see that adidas has released the Superstar with an NBA theme - 30 variants, one for each team in the league. That's kinda *yawn*, but getting Dan the Automator to do a beats signature for each of the 30 shoes and then letting you download it isn't. That's kinda f-f-fresh :-) *stoopid fresh!* Go see/hear at adidas.com

A bit of sneaker trivia for all you heads out there: if you ever wanted to know how to tie your laces...here's the ultimate guide courtesy of Sneaker Freaker of Australia. (I can't believe someone didn't make it into a book and try to sell it to me ;-) Hhaha!) My fave is the 'Lattice'. Dare I try that in the streets of Santa Monica?!
